River raft with family group and guide on the Tully River

The River Raft

8 People. One Guide.
One River.

Up to 8 people per raft with a professional guide inside calling every command. Full safety briefing. Full equipment provided. You paddle when called. The guide handles navigation, reads the water, and puts you in the right place at the right time.

The guide is in the raft with you. Not on the bank. Not in a separate boat. In your raft, reading the same rapids you're reading, reacting in real time. They know this river because they live next to it. Not because they trained on it for a season and moved on.

Same river as the sports raft. Same price. The difference is format. The River Raft lets you focus on the experience instead of the paddling mechanics.

The Guides

Local Knowledge.
Not a Script.

Our guides have paddled the Tully more times than they can count. They know where the river speeds up, where it surprises you, and where it gives you a moment to breathe. They live here. The river is their backyard.

These aren't seasonal staff bused in from a city two hours away. They're locals who chose this river and this life. That matters when you're mid-rapid and the water decides to do something unexpected.

Meet the Guides

First Time?

The River Doesn't Grade You
on Experience.

It grades you on commitment. Show up. Listen to the briefing. Hold the paddle. Follow the calls. The river and the guide take care of the rest.

You don't need to know what a Grade 2-3 rapid looks like before you hit one. You don't need upper body strength that would impress anyone. You need to be willing to get wet, follow instructions, and let the Tully do what it's been doing for longer than any of us have been alive.

Most of the people in the raft on any given afternoon have never done this before. By the third rapid, they've stopped being nervous and started grinning.
